Subject: suspicious vehicle

Hello,

I have a suspicious vehicle for ya’ll to be on the lookout for.  No burglaries have been reported involving this vehicle, but the actions are suspicious.

The vehicle is a black dodge truck with “Houston Rockets” sticker on back window.  The plate is 97GFP7 .   It was last seen in the Redland Ridge neighborhood off of FM1604 and Redland Rd.   A citizen stated he saw the vehicle driving slowly through the neighborhood and the passenger would get out of the truck and walk up to houses and then return to the truck.  They did this several times before they spotted the citizen watching them.  They then left the neighborhood and the passenger was dropped off at a nearby construction site where he got back on his machine and went back to work.

It is unknown what they were doing, but it is suspicious enough for me to send out a BOLO to the COP groups.  If you see the vehicle in your neighborhood, please contact your SAFFE officer.  Since there is no confirmed illegal activity involving this vehicle, if you make a call to SAPD non-emergency line, it is only a “suspicious vehicle”.  If I get any other information, I will let ya’ll know.

Keep up the good work!

Respectfully Yours
