 Officer Garro                        Speeding problems and reporting information.

·      Business cards distributed with numbers to reach him  direct; non-emergency number to report suspicious car/persons in the area, 207-SAPD.

·      Problem with thefts in the area during the day and night. Everyone is asked to keep their garage doors closed, a note will be placed on open doors to remind residents to close their doors.

·      All persons asked to go to Lee High School on July 24th to vote on the decrease of officers per substation.

·      The electric speed sign can be placed in our area for three days to make residents aware of their speed.

·      Speed bumps do not stop speeders, they are costly and not a deterrent.

 Richard Palmer            Power Poles and Money Tree foliage.

·      The 3 power poles on Archer’s Bow must be removed before David Weekly sells the model and leaves the area.

·      Ms. Buck had trees and foliage removed from curb area on Money Tree, but has not finished the perimeter. Will send a request to finish.          

Marlene Masten            Archdiocese Festivities

·       Barricades to be put up at entrance to Money Tree on October 13th for the Archdiocese Festivities.

·       Residents brought up  the inconvenience, but once the participants learn of the parking facilities from year to year, there will be less of an inconvenience.

·       Front gate of McCallister Park will be closed and many more direction signs to the parking will be posted.

                                    Stanusch Property

·       There is a 25 foot easement from the fences of homes on Archer’s Bow.

·       One story offices to be built with consideration to saving the trees.

 Jennifer Gates  Social Committee

·       Spring garage sale was a success with 15 families participating. Fall garage sale may be possible.

·       Tuesday, August 7th , Neighborhood Night Out. Block Captains to work out meeting places.

·       In October we will try to do a Halloween Jack O’Lantern , dress-up Party.

·       The Christmas Party date will be announced soon and will book a band or singing group.

                                    New Business

·       Stewart McGowan is asking for volunteers to help fix up the Activity Room at the Alterra Living Center.

·       Volunteers are also asked to help residents with crafts, reading, bridge, etc….

·       Marlene needs volunteers to help plant around the sign in front of the neighborhood, Alterra will maintain the plants.

·       Jim Watkins advised anyone building a shed in their backyard needs a city permit if the building is 120 feet or more. The shed must be 5 feet from the back easement and 6 feet from the house.
