1902 Archers Bow |
Roadrunner Decks |
Many
of you may have noticed the neighborhood’s most ugly fence at the
corner of Money Tree and Archers Bow has been rebuilt. Roadrunner
Decks did the work. Byron (the son) and Michael (the dad) Gueguen
did the work. It was reasonably priced, very well done, and they
are easy to schedule. PH: 210-473-0015; ONLINE: Byron@RoadrunnerDecks.com. |

We thought we had swarming bees, but Joseph told us that they were
deadly wasps that live in the ground. During the winter all the
males in the nest die and Joseph destroyed the nest that contained 7 or
8 queens at no charge. If you see swarming "bee-like"
activity near the ground, DO NOT disturb the nest because the wasps will
attack and possibly kill.. Call Joseph. |

Hi folks!
Just wanted to pass along a recommendation. Mitchell
and I just celebrated our 9th anniversary. We spent the weekend in
Austin and had a great time. It's a fun/eclectic city with much to do
and see. You can even walk to stores and restaurants and not get runover!
Anyway, we stayed at the Brava House bed and breakfast. It was a great
value, centrally located and had yummy breakfasts. If you have an
occasion, you might want to check it out. Here's the Web site:

For an anniversary gift I
also got my husband sailing lessons on Lake Travis (who knew you could
sail in the middle of Texas!?). Anyway, that Web site is: http://www.ccsi.com/~sailaweigh/.
Captain Sam was very patient. We had a great time. You're welcome to
post his sailing site as well. I'm all for supporting local businesses,
aren't you? Thanks! |

If you are interested in wood shutters: Kina Anderson with Imaginations
Interior Decorating and Designs, 860-0688 (cell)
We love our wood shutters made by Sunland! They were more
affordable than many I priced. They really help block the
summertime heat, but give a wonderful view of the outdoors when
open. And so easy to clean! Kina is also a gifted decorator
for any of your other decorating needs. |
